Project Description
The Plywood series looked at the abundance of 4x8 plywood panels leftover from the barriers and dividers that kept us isolated during covid. This project was a tribute to the performing arts that suffered some of those impacts. Through prompting, the embossed engineering stencils and other imperfections are accented with concealed and natural lighting emanating between the layered wood panels. The interiors combine acoustics and the warmth of wood expressed through the performing arts.
