This artwork envisions a world where even a sloth, a creature with the most unremarkable physical abilities, can experience happiness. I wanted to depict a scene where my favorite animated characters become friends with the pink baby sloth, embracing it in their joyful world.

To incorporate Korean elements, I illustrated the sloth buying bungeoppang, a popular Korean street snack. This small moment symbolizes warmth, nostalgia, and the simple joys of life.

Additionally, my background in cognitive psychology inspired me to portray how memories are stored in the brain—not in a linear sequence, but in an overlapping, multidimensional space. The sloth enjoying its bungeoppang represents the recollection of cherished memories, capturing the way our minds intertwine past emotions and experiences into the present moment.

Through this piece, I hope to share a vision of a world where happiness is accessible to everyone, regardless of their limitations.
