Infinity unfolds between mirrored planes in the shimmering halls of Mughal palaces. Each reflection spawns countless selves, fragmenting and multiplying until identity dissolves into pure light. The architects of these mirrored halls were manifesting a philosophy of infinite division and divine unity. As candlelight strikes thousands of convex surfaces, the viewer becomes both observer and observed, lost in an endless recursion of their image. This meditation on multiplicity speaks to contemporary questions of fractured identity while drawing from centuries-old Islamic geometric traditions. The mirrors serve as portals, inviting us to step through the looking glass into a realm where the boundaries between self and space, finite and infinite, material and divine, blur into a single dazzling whole.
