Project Description
I chose to combine and tweak two different folklores into one storyline. "Huldufólk" or Hidden people are a part of Icelandic folklore, said to be an otherworldly beautiful mix of elves and humans. They can be both kind or malevolent, depends on humans trespassing their habitats or ruining the nature. They are also known for helping people in need. They are protecters of nature.
"Fenrisúlfr" or Fenrir/Fenris wolf is a part of Norse Mythology, a symbol of chaos and destruction. The prophesy entails him breaking free during "Ragnarök" end of days, bringing the end of the gods and devouring Odin.
Storyline:
The elven female and her young one, summon the wolf as a final warning to humankind for endangering the planet and her species with their warfare, pollution and corruption. The wolf rises from the volcanic cloud of ashes, unleashed like a force of nature, to strike upon on those who continue to defile and impose on the elven habitat.
