This artwork is part of my larger project to challenge stereotypes and bring attention to the richness and complexity of African-inspired art forms, often misunderstood or overlooked. By merging traditional motifs with contemporary forms of expression, I create a dialogue between the past and the present, inviting viewers to reconsider their perceptions of cultural heritage. The bold and vibrant composition is meant to evoke both curiosity and reverence, emphasizing the power of cultural syncretism to redefine identity in today’s world.
