didn’t make this film to shock you. I made it because I needed to understand. I’ve spent a long time walking through the world, noticing things—how we build fences around what we don’t want to feel, how we turn away from what we can’t explain. And somewhere along the way, I started to wonder: What if the roles were reversed? This film is not a statement. It’s not a campaign. It’s just a question. What if it was us? What if we were the ones in the cages, on the conveyor belts, behind the glass? What if someone else decided what our lives were worth? I didn’t want to be graphic. I didn’t need to be. Because cruelty often hides in the quiet. In the systems. The habits. The routines we call “normal.” This film isn’t here to blame anyone. It’s here to feel. It’s here to hold up a mirror—not just to what we’ve done, but to what we’ve learned to accept. I made this as a meditation. A prayer, maybe. For all the lives we pass by. For the ones we never saw.
