This collection explores the harshness and grittiness of life. It explores the different aspects of how generative art can express the real and somewhat broken aspects of our world. The intention was to bring the rawness of our everyday experience, yet still craft images in a way that only AI can do. Tapping into the creative aspects of the machine to explore realistic imagination while incorporating AI's ethereal, surrealistic expression. Topping it with a mix of high fashion I was able to interplay with the algorithm and craft a very interesting visual experience. Interpreting the expressive capability of AI models and training them down to the dirty smoke filled rooms filled with harsh lighting, carnal passions and greasy fingers I was able to allow the AI to craft moments of pure carnal enjoyment of unhealthy fast food. The textures stick in your mind like the grease from a burger and fries stick to your fingers. By stripping away polish and perfection the machine was able to grind through the rawness we live and see every day. The prompt was simple in order to tap into the creativity of the image generation model I left it with four words. What emerged was anything but simple. The model took what might be familiar into something surreal, turning cheap wrappers into glossy editorials, and fast food objects into desire. Burgers became the paint on the canvas, fries spilled out like ornaments, and chrome surfaces reflected back the tension of pleasure and excess. It wasn’t about food anymore; it was about the cravings beneath it, the gritty satisfaction that comes with wanting and never being full enough.
