This video work animates the sketch-like portrait, unfolding as a continuous dialogue between drawing and reality. At times, the woman’s features and the surrounding blossoms sharpen into photographic clarity, only to dissolve again into fragile etched lines. The viewer is carried back and forth between the immediacy of life and the openness of a sketch still in formation. Yet the work does not remain in this oscillation alone: at certain points, the imagery drifts into hallucinatory scenes where perception itself loses its anchor. These passages heighten the sense of uncertainty, drawing the viewer into a dreamlike realm where memory, artifice, and reality intertwine. Rather than offering resolution, the film sustains a fragile equilibrium—an endless reverie in which the real, the drawn, and the hallucinatory coexist in shifting exchange.
