“Renaissance”
GRACE AI ART - Gracjana Stubinska · Germany
Conceptual & Fine Art
“Renaissance” is a homage to female dignity, character, and sensuality – reimagined, re-seen, re-created, yet in the style of the old masters. In this series I create portraits that enter the language of the Renaissance – inspired by the aristocratic depictions of the 16th and 17th centuries. But instead of historical figures, women from my own world emerge. They are not mere images, but embodiments of attitude, identity, and character. Their gazes – sensual, proud, demanding – weave together past and present. Each figure carries the gesture of the old masters, yet at the same time speaks the language of our era: fragmentary, digital, transformed through the lens of artificial intelligence. Here AI does not become a tool, but an alchemist. It translates decadent delicacy, the weight of the Renaissance, velvet and stone into a new visual grammar. Data become pigments, algorithms become textures – and the eternal of art history merges with the fleeting nature of the digital present. It is a play of memory and transformation: the visage of a countess who could at once be an icon of tomorrow. Thus, the Renaissance is not quoted, but reborn – as a poetic alliance of history, technology, and personal vision. Each image is the old visage of a new femininity in the present.
As an art lover and artist, I move between history and the present, between classical inspiration and contemporary rebellion. My art is an aesthetic manifesto – it does not strive for decoration, but for the condensation of emotion, memory and style. My first collection, ‘Renaissance,’ is both a return and a new beginning: a dialogue with the past that is inscribed in the forms and imagery of today. It combines the sublime with the intimate, the historical with the modern, the rigour of composition with the sensuality of expression. I stage formative life situations, personalities that create fragile strength. True femininity instead of female energy, which so many strive for today. Characters instead of mere personalities. With my art, I strive for precision and beauty, but also for breaks that open the eye. Each work is a staging of space and feeling, an aesthetic experience that appeals equally to lovers of classical and contemporary art and aesthetes. My art is a renaissance of the personal – a revival of inner worlds, transformed into visual language. It seeks to touch, inspire, and open new horizons.
