Remanence questions what happens when human traces are fed into a generative system and returned as statistical bodies. The algorithm predicts, aligns, and recombines, producing forms that look like presence but dissolve into probability. Rather than accepting this repetition, my practice works as a disruption of the flow: reintroducing drawings, paintings, and studies of the body, looping them back through the machine, altering inputs and reclaiming outputs. Each cycle hacks the expected trajectory, forcing fractures and deviations into the generative weave. What emerges is not a stable body but a spectral remnant, suspended between flesh and data. This ghostly persistence does not imitate life, yet it reveals something about it: the fragile remainder that exceeds calculation and keeps us human.
