This collection was born from the desire to transform something as everyday and ephemeral as food into a lasting experience. Inspired by brutalist aesthetics and the serenity of Japanese culture, each piece is sculpted in stone — marble, granite, limestone. There are no ingredients, only matter. I wanted to explore how texture, weight, and imperfection can replace flavor — how the gesture of preparing a nigiri can become a sculptural act. In each work, the softness of sushi turns into solidity, and what is perishable becomes permanent. “Marble Bites” speaks of time, memory, and beauty in what is essential: stone, silence, and form.
