Sci-Fi & Fantasy
I wanted to imagine a new Marianne. Not the one found on stamps or inside town halls, but a woman born from the anger of the people. She doesn’t stand triumphant above the ruins; she is in the midst of the chaos. Her arm raised, a torch in hand, she isn’t leading from a pedestal. This image was created with AI. That wasn’t just a technical choice Beauce it was a symbolic one. I wanted to use a tool that, like Marianne herself, belongs to our time, yet challenges our relationship to tradition. AI has no past, no memory of revolutions or empires. And yet, it can conjure myth. It can reinvent symbols. By letting an algorithm draw Marianne, I invited the machine to interpret what freedom, revolt, and identity might look like today. The result is unsettling, hybrid, and strangely human.
