A study of shifting perception—hypnotic, unstable, already slipping away. Hallucinatory Field is built on a base prompt of a red, digital-looking field. At times it drifts toward the intangible, at others it edges into hyperrealism, yet the field remains constant. The dominant red was chosen to echo the reddish dark we see when we close our eyes—not pure black, but the persistent dark red of our eyelid. This is an ongoing project, from which I have selected 10 images. Many of the pieces draw on Hungarian folk motifs, fragments of rural life, and other childhood impressions that left a strong imprint on me. These memories resurface in altered, unstable form, refracted through the field. What emerges is less about depicting the past as it was, and more about how memory and perception blur, misremember, and transform. The compositions are deliberately impactful, mirroring the way memory leaves behind vivid but incomplete fragments—the kind we can feel intensely but never fully see. In dreams, their movement is hypnotic, always circling back to the original fragment just as we begin to drift away.
