Godspeed

Godspeed reimagines the cathedral — a space of surrender, prayer, and faith — as an arena for speed, precision, and control. By merging sacred architecture with the culture of car racing, the project explores the paradox between worship and dominance, humility and power, devotion and drive. The cathedral, historically a symbol of humanity’s reach toward the divine, becomes a stage for mechanical ritual — engines replacing hymns, tire smoke replacing incense. Through six photorealistic AI-generated images, Godspeed transforms the stillness of prayer into the motion of velocity, questioning what modern society worships and where faith now resides. In this world, the act of driving becomes a new liturgy — a pursuit of transcendence through motion. Godspeed is not about victory, but about reverence for control itself.
