"Digital Echoes is a groundbreaking series of digital images that uses artificial intelligence to reinterpret some of humanity’s most iconic art pieces—such as Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus and Millais’ Ophelia. At once nostalgic and dystopian, the series merges these masterpieces with symbols of environmental decay, mechanization, and the human disconnection caused by technology. Through the AI’s lens, the viewer is drawn into haunting, surreal worlds where nature and humanity are transformed, juxtaposing beauty with crisis. This work acts as a critique of the Anthropocene, highlighting how technology not only serves as a tool of advancement but also as a contributor to the destruction of the natural world and our human essence. The familiar beauty of these cultural icons is preserved yet hollowed out, leaving viewers to confront the tension between humanity’s artistic legacy and our present-day crises. Through Digital Echoes, viewers are invited to reflect on how our most pressing environmental issues and the relentless rise of AI are reshaping both our world and our identity, perhaps rendering us the true simulacra of our own past selves."
