Children Mega Playhouse Children are the most vibrant and vivid creations in the world. While our world is now busy with highly advanced cutting-edge technology, big digital screens, gadgets and all artificial things, yet sometimes children need to connect with nature-immersive experiences to make them understand their vitality and purpose of this world. To have a beautiful world with full of good hearted people, we need to preserve our children’s pure sense of imaginations, emotional well-being, and their deep connections with the mother nature which are essential for empowering and cultivating a kind, confident, resilient and a mindful future generations full of emotional intelligence and creativity. My proposal is giving an idea of creating a nature-immersive architectural space which are inspired by the very childhood simple toys we used to play like colorful origami style paper toys such as fortune teller, pinwheel, bird, plane, flower etc. I blended the form aesthetics of the toys with a deconstructive abstractness to create a more unique playful structures. These captivating colorful mega playhouses amid lush greenery forest introduce them an adventurous, energetic, curious and joyful experience with minimal and simplest resources. The origami style colorful enchanting abstract forms make the children feel fun and positive energy. The different levels with connecting pathways create a sense of magical journey which encourages the children for more physical movement and fitness and grow an interest inside their mind to explore different places and interact with new people and create more fun activity. The comfortable forest wind breeze and amazing green scenario make the children hearts feel comfortable, calm and serene. The material would be very simple and most possible low cost material. There are some places in the world where people are not privileged. They can also build it to give their children a joyous nature-immersive experience. The main foundation can be constructed with reinforced concrete. The base structure or the skeleton of the structure can be constructed with steel. Then the origami parts can be built with laminated timber as these parts are exposed in the outdoor and laminated timber has a good resistance to moisture and decay, strong durability and fire resistance. Also, it can be made out of fast growing trees and easy to carry, so the price will be lower than other material. All the painted colors should be non-toxic grade and there will be soft – fall flooring system for safety purpose. With this idea, I tried to create a message for the children that if all things were lost someday, or there was a big earthquake, storm, cyclone, or any disaster, and if we lost all our advanced technology, we could still make our world beautiful again with minimal resources, unique creativity, and strong bonding.
