Ceremony is a series of AI-generated images exploring a kind of intrusion that isn’t physical — but unfolds in the space between proximity, perception, and presence. An exploration of boundaries at the edge of endless visibility. The work draws on the visual codes of Baroque painting and Symbolist portraiture to create scenes that feel sacred, intimate, and staged — almost like rituals. Fashion plays a central role, but not in the traditional sense. Here, garments function as emotional architecture — the last visible layer between the self and the observer. Lace, embroidery, texture — all become a kind of barrier: soft, intricate, and protective. Each look draws the viewer in, while also keeping them at a quiet distance. This project challenges the usual approach to fashion photography by shifting the focus from identity or styling to emotion, tension, and boundary. It asks: What does it mean to be adorned, but not accessible? To appear open, while remaining untouchable?

'Ceremony' sits at the intersection of fashion, fine art, and emotional narrative. It reimagines what a fashion photoshoot can be — not promotional, but symbolic. Not styled, but staged. The series would be well suited for publication in forward-thinking fashion and visual culture magazines that explore conceptual storytelling and experimental image-making. Potential editorial fits include: Dazed, AnOther Magazine, i-D, The Gentlewoman, Re-Edition, Numero Berlin, Vogue Italia (print stories / visual essays), More or Less Magazine. This project may also resonate with emerging or niche fashion houses and independent designers interested in storytelling through emotion, texture, and symbolism — especially those working with historical silhouettes, handcrafted textiles, or ritual-inspired collections.
