For Amsterdam SAIL 2025, Suzy One Kenobi who intrigued the stakeholders with her Planet Suzy AI art projects with their inventive creatures, electrifying glam-pop aesthetic, and instantly recognizable style, was commissioned precisely because of her playful, celebratory, and humor-infused approach to art. Her work is not only innovative and modern but also reaches beyond fleeting fashions, giving SAIL Amsterdam 2025 a fresh, cool, and forward-looking visual identity, rather than relying once again on the familiar clichés of ship paintings and recycled maritime imagery. Building on this commission, Suzy One Kenobi created three new works that merge the SAIL theme with her own universe, blending unique pop-art references, a bold K-pop-meets-Dutch-art energy, and subtle nods to Dutch history through her unique AI Art approach. During SAIL (August 20–24), her AI generated and AI animated creations were exhibited on all metro stations across Amsterdam, coinciding with the city’s 750th anniversary and adding a distinctive artistic layer to one of the world’s largest maritime events.
