This series is an ode to Amsterdam and its iconic canal houses. I depict the city as living beings: women who literally carry the architecture and history on their shoulders. Flowers and façades merge into surreal costumes, where fashion, nature and heritage form a unified whole. The images balance between painterly tradition and digital innovation, inspired by the grandeur of the Dutch Golden Age and translated into a contemporary AI aesthetic. With these works, I aim to present the city a new, not as a static backdrop but as a living organism that embodies identity and imagination.
