Inspired by a perfume I recently received as a birthday gift, I designed a perfume concept art piece. As someone who's always curious about the unseen, I wanted to freely explore my imagination of the unknown through the medium of perfume, using UFOs as a motif. I aimed to design a perfume concept art piece that could be considered a single object or a work of art. 1) The design combines transparent glass and titanium metal to create a luxurious yet refreshing feel, and the depiction of a flying UFO creates a witty and cute scene. 2) The design maximizes the appearance of a spaceship, resembling a UFO floating in space. Using mother-of-pearl, I aimed to create a unique design that captures the beauty of mother-of-pearl's inherent color. 3)-5) Perfume evokes memories of time through its scent. I wanted to create a concept art piece that captures the essence of time through scent, as if traveling through time on a UFO. 6)-7) The design captures a moment of weightlessness, creating a mysterious and dreamlike atmosphere. I hope that simply looking at the object, levitating amidst clear water droplets, will lift your spirits, as if inhaling a fragrant scent. 8)-9) The encounter between fabric and perfume concept art. A beautiful UFO was created by presenting the object as if it were wrapped in fabric. 10) Finally, the encounter between paper and perfume concept art. Inspired by traditional Korean creative practices that utilize paper to create objects, the resulting perfume concept art exudes a sense of freedom, reminiscent of dancing warriors. Above all, I hope my work lifts the spirits of many.
