A Magical Night in Barcelona: Celebrating the 2024 AI Design Award Winners
On a vibrant spring evening in Barcelona, the AI Design Awards 2024 came to life through a stunning exhibition and gathering in one of the city’s most atmospheric venues — Palau Dalmases, located in the historic and artistic El Born district. The event brought together creative minds from around the world, spanning from Brazil to the United States, Canada and numerous countries within Europe, honoring this year’s visionary winners and celebrating the growing global community at the intersection of AI and design.
A Night to Celebrate the Power of Art & AI
The exhibition showcased award-winning projects from the 2024 cohort, each exploring bold, beautiful, and boundary-pushing applications of artificial intelligence in design. From experimental interfaces to generative visual storytelling, the works on display reflected the incredible diversity and imagination of this year’s honorees.
Attendees — including designers, jury members, technologists, artists, researchers, and friends from the creative AI space — gathered to celebrate in person, many meeting face-to-face for the first time after months of virtual connection. The atmosphere was full of warmth, laughter, and genuine creative exchange.
Winners Honored On Stage
In a special moment of recognition, several AI Design Awards 2024 winners were awarded on stage, greeted with enthusiastic applause from a packed and appreciative crowd. The prizes were presented by AI Design Awards jury members Diana and Rubén, from the Clueless Agency, creators of world-famous AI model Aitana and Daniel Sáenz, Creative Tech Director of Coca Cola Europe and AI Professor at the Brother Creative School. It was a powerful tribute to the people behind the projects — the human stories behind the innovation.
A Phygital Performance Like No Other
A standout moment of the evening was a live phygital art performance by artist Vladislav Ossso, who collaborated with AI in real time to create an evolving visual artwork — accompanied by live guitar and music. The audience was captivated as human creativity and machine intelligence merged before their eyes, turning the historic space into a living canvas of sound, light, and digital expression.
