The AI Design Awards 2025 have officially announced the winners of their inaugural edition, solidifying their place as the leading global competition for AI-generated art. This groundbreaking event celebrates the evolution of AI art, AI design, and generative AI creativity, bringing together artists who push the boundaries of what’s possible with artificial intelligence.
With hundreds of entries from around the world, this year’s competition showcased an incredible range of AI-generated visuals, spanning digital painting, AI-generated photography, motion graphics, and conceptual storytelling. From hyper-realistic AI artworks to surreal dreamscapes, the competition revealed how machine learning models and creative algorithms are reshaping the artistic landscape.
The Grand Prize Winners
The competition was divided into two main categories: AI Image Design and AI Motion Design, with subcategories covering AI-generated architecture, fashion design, sci-fi art, conceptual pieces, storytelling, and promotional AI visuals.
🏆 AI Image Designer of 2024: Xim Izquierdo (Spain) – Archive of Stone
This visionary project blends AI fashion design and conceptual art, imagining identity and objects as timeless artifacts shaped by machine learning algorithms. Izquierdo’s work explores the tension between fragility and permanence, creating AI-generated fashion sculptures that blur the line between luxury and decay.

🏆 AI Motion Designer of 2024: Jiwon Han & Wansik Yun (Korea) – The Bound
A mesmerizing AI-generated motion graphics film that follows a woman across different historical periods, reflecting on the power of AI-driven storytelling. This piece redefines AI animation and generative video art, demonstrating how artificial intelligence can craft emotionally compelling narratives.
Both winners received $2,300 USD, two trophies, an AI art exhibition in Barcelona, and a Topaz Labs license, reinforcing AI’s growing influence in digital art competitions and AI-powered creative industries.
AI Design Innovation: Insights from the Judges
The jury panel featured top AI artists, AI curators, creative directors, and machine learning art specialists. Among them, Liber, a renowned AI filmmaker with over 1.7 million followers, noted:
